Its carefully selected recipe helps to combat the buildup of harmful crystals in the urinary system. The dry kibble contains a moderate amount of protein from high quality sources as well as a lowered magnesium content. This combination produces a larger quantity of more acidic urine, which lowers the risk of new urinary stones being created. It can also help to remove pre-existing urinary stones or crystals. The dietetic food features active ingredients to combat tartar prophylaxis by binding valuable calcium in the saliva. Left unchecked, this can increase the buildup of tartar.
